Rounding out the cast are Rowland (PETER BOYLE), a pool shark and Pluto's confidant; Flura (PAM GRIER), Pluto's mother; and Tony Francis (JAY MOHR), Pluto's friend and an Italian singing sensation.

Reviews
It's boring. It's flat. It's ugly. Worst of all for a comedy, it's not even remotely funny.
Some diverting cameos, but Murphy struggles to keep this one grounded.
The movie is set in 2087, or approximately 100 years after scribe Neil Cuthbert last bothered to touch up his script.
Longe de ser o desastre que muitos anunciaram, o filme funciona como uma aventura descompromissada (mas não como comédia) - e merece créditos ao menos por sua direção de arte e pelos bons efeitos visuais.
Kinda sad that this endearingly strange flick will be remembered as one of the "worst ever", yet XXX is considered a good movie because it was profitable.
I broke a smile once toward the end of the film.... I won't tell you where.
As much of a good idea as Pluto Nash might have been, it's execution is far less engaging.
Though my expectations for the film were exceptionally low, it turns out that The Adventures of Pluto Nash is just diverting enough to recommend it.
This is a fudged opportunity of gigantic proportions -- a lunar mission with no signs of life.
A sparkling but cold and lifeless chunk of rock which is best left forgotten.
