The London Critics Circle has announced the nominees for its year-end awards, with Anton Corbijn's Control and Joe Wright's Atonement leading the pack at eight nominations apiece.

Anton Corbijn is Dutch (lives in the UK though), yet London Film calls him British.....

I don't like all the choices, especially not in the actor categories. Casey Affleck...? "Jesse James"? Paul Greengrass? Imelda Staunton?

Still compaining for Julie Christie! She needs to win every award :D

I love the fact that Vanessa Redgrave is nominated for Atonement. She was only in the movie for once scene, but wow, was that scene amazing.
