'Marauder' is ambitious as all get-out, yet comes across looking incredibly cheap and sloppily slapped together.
While a marked improvement over the utter lameness of Troopers 2, Marauder tries too hard to telegraph its satirical tone...
The story is very convoluted and it wants to throw too many political ideas at us.
The movie ends up looking clumsy and amateurish. (Blu-ray Edition)
There's not an ounce of charm, delight, tension, suspense, excitement, fright, magic, or wonder in the whole affair.
For all its surprising little merits, Starship Troopers 3 still works as a piece of cheesy B-grade cinema fun.
The actor has come full circle playing Johnny Rico, first as a wide-eyed young recruit and now as the grizzled veteran in the film franchise adapted from Robert Heinlein's classic science fiction novel
