Marvel Studios has promised The Incredible Hulk will restart the Hulk movie franchise with a more fun take on the material. Costar Tim Roth, who plays Abomination in the film, confirmed the fun.
Sam Raimi Wants Peter Jackson to Direct Hobbit When the falling out between Peter Jackson and New Line Cinema led to speculation of a new director for The Hobbit, the only satisfying rumor was Sam Raimi. Now that New Line is trying to reconcile with Jackson, even Raimi is hoping for Jackson to complete the quadrilogy.

- Jay Roach has optioned Off Strategy, a Madison Avenue-set romantic-comedy manuscript from Rob Vlock. Jon Poll is set to direct with Roach producing for Sony.
- Leslie Bibb, Adam Goldberg, Kathy Baker and Missy Pyle will star in Miss Nobody, an indie comedy with Bibb co-producing and Tim Cox directing.
- Intrepid Pictures has acquired rights to the upcoming horror-thriller comic book The Bond of Saint Marcel by Jennifer Quintenz, who has also adapted a screenplay.
- Kyra Sedgwick and Michael C. Hall have joined Gerard Butler in the thriller Game, written and to be directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor for Lakeshore Entertainment.
- Anthony Hopkins will star as the father of Benicio Del Toro's character in Universal's The Wolfman, with Mark Romanek directing.
- Steve Pink will write a draft of the Kevin James comedy Mall Cop for Columbia Pictures and Happy Madison Productions.

As for Batman, he'd certainly be good as the guy in the suit, but I don't think he could tone down his own loud'n'shiny presence enough to play Bruce Wayne. (Reply to this) |
